Working with Design Students to Promote the DERT Brand

This Fall DERT participated in an advertising class at Parsons School of Design. Communication design students at Parsons were assigned the task to help promote DERT as a new social venture that sells student designed books which raise money for literacy charity. Students created fully developed campaigns and presented them at a critique session held at the multidisciplinary design firm TODA. Students met with various TODA staff presenting their concepts and getting one-on-one feedback on their work.

DERT gained many insights from the students work, with many concepts and tactics being utlized for current and future marketing efforts. DERT has build it’s branding efforts over the years based on working in collaboration with several design classes at Parsons, New York City College of Technology and The Art Institute of New York City.
