For the past two years, DERT co-founder Marcos Chavez has been working with graphic design students from The Art Institute of New York City to create a range of projects to help DERT develop its social entrepreneurship model. Students worked on various social media promotion campaigns and most recently has worked on creating a series of redesigned classic books.

Students re-imagined covers for a wide range of classic literature which are designed to be printed using on-demand digital printing technology. DERT is in the process of creating a social venture model that will activate DERT’s book products into fundraising tools that raise money for literacy charity.
