Call of The Wild

Buck, a Saint Bernard, is kidnapped from a life of comfort in his Californian home and sold into slavery in the Yukon Territory of Alaska, where he must quickly adapt to harsh conditions in the struggle to survive. The Call of the Wild tells the experiences of Buck as he is then passed along from master to master as a sled dog learning how to overcome the various challenges posed by both the Canadian wilderness and his owners. Based on his own experiences as a gold prospector in Canada, Jack London’s The Call of the Wild was first published in 1903 to a positive reception and is now regarded as one of his most famous and widely read works. Buck’s inspiring story of adventure, love, and struggle is one that can be enjoyed by all ages
