These DERT books were designed and illustrated by Sage Smith, a Brooklyn based designer. The Little Books were created with the ambition of introducing babies to the experience of reading and counting. With these books families can provide babies and toddlers with engaging educational books that help families interact together and start the journey of literacy — helping kids be prepared for school and ready to succeed in life.
These 16-page board books are part of a social venture project to raise money for literacy charities. DERT works with emerging designers to create unique, customized books. Each DERT book features the design and conceptual artwork created by graphic design students. With your purchase all profits from the sale will be donated to The Parent-Child Home Program.
